VALENTINE’S DAY

Hope you all had a great Valentine’s day! I thought I would share a quick little rundown on how I spent the 14th.

My S/O and I have a vacay coming up next month so we both decided that we would be on a budget this Valentine’s Day.

WHAT HE GOT ME…

He bought me a cute little stuffed animal, (I love plushies!) Tulips to plant for the spring time, and a pink Starbucks drink to match the little pink theme – Followed by a “Will You Be My Valentine?”

WHAT I GOT HIM…

I was so proud of myself for what I managed to do with such a small budget! There’s a little portable printer by HP called Sprocket (I’m so in love with this little machine – I literally take it everywhere) and I spent the 13th printing a ton of sentimental pictures using that. While he was working, I scattered them out on the bed along with some rose petals, wine, and chocolates right in the center.

WHAT WE DID…

After getting home, he let me know that he wanted us to go out to eat and we had agreed to go somewhere that wouldn’t be too busy. We went to this local Italian restaurant and it was exactly what we wanted. It was amazing! We came back and stayed in for the rest of the night, watching movies, drinking wine, and cuddling. A very relaxing night, but just what we needed together.

I did something simple for my makeup look: A bit of eyeshadow from the Naked 2 Palette, Mascara, and just some Colourpop Lipgloss and I was good to go! I wore a white dress with a baggy red sweater to match the V-Day theme.

How was your Valentine’s Day? Did you go out to celebrate or did you stay in and relax?
